Our Story

The Genesis of Evolve Academy

Two science teachers asked a question: when did learning become about getting the best grades, memorizing the most knowledge, prepping for the best universities?

We wanted to create a space where we could instill our love for learning in our students. We are also what you might describe as nerds - for science, history and philosophy. Learning about tuberculosis from a historical perspective? The ethics of zoos? The marketing of junk foods?

We design our courses to engage real-world curiosities, to fill the gaps that currently exist in most school classrooms.

And so Evolve Academy was born in a cozy house in Bangkok.

VISION

A future where uncertainty is embraced, and young people are empowered to explore their paths in an ever-evolving world.

MISSION

Everyone is born curious.

At Evolve Academy, we nurture this instinct beyond the classroom. We aim for our students to think independently, reason carefully, tell fact from opinion, and feel at home in the exciting, sometimes messy process of truth-seeking.

At Evolve, courses are offered either as

  1. One-time day course on weekends,

  2. Short courses that run on weekdays during school breaks,

  3. Multi-weekend short courses.

All courses are designed for the enrolling age group, in small classes up to 15 students. The space is a home, with an outdoor garden and pond, where students can get comfortable and feel safe engaging in discussions and activities.

We pride ourselves in being a screen-free learning zone. In an age of increasing AI-dependency, we see value in learning with open communication, sensory approaches, and creative thinking.

We also take our role working with children very seriously. View our Child Protection Policy.
